Motorcycle Maintenance Day and BBQ Social

Ditigus Medius of OMC is hosting a motorcycle maintenance day and BBQ at his home in West LA.

This is your chance to do some basic maintenance, like oil changes, cable adjustments, chain adjustments, brake fluid flushes, coolant flushes, and air filter changes. Other work, like chain and sprocket replacements, brake pad replacement, electronics, adding farkles, and general diagnostics are possible with a bit of advanced planning.  Or, just come and hang out.

We have all conceivable needed tools and many supplies for metric bikes.  Non metric bikes are welcome but plan to bring the right wrenches if you are doing work.

Digitus Medius has 9 bikes in the garage currently, works on all of them, and has rebuilt some from the frame up.  That said, all advice is free but given is “as is”.  Your participation means you understand that YOU are solely responsible for all work that happens on your bike.

Participation will be by RSVP since space is limited and some work will require advance planning (which we can happily discuss).  There is a Cycle Gear and excellent industrial hardware store within walking distance.

Plan to come out, socialize, learn some new skills, and gain confidence in doing your own maintenance!
